Visalia rallies past Bakersfield

Raul Navarro and Sean Jamieson each had RBI singles in the seventh inning as the Visalia Rawhide rallied for a 2-1 victory over the Bakersfield Blaze on Saturday night at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Blaze reliever Mike Dennhardt allowed both runs to take the loss. Bakersfield starter Jon Moscot pitched 51/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out seven. Brooks Pinchard pitched two scoreless innings to close the game for Bakersfield.

Juan Perez homered on a fly ball to right-center field in the sixth inning for Bakersfield's only run.

The Blaze (5-18), which has lost seven in a row, hosts Visalia (15-8) at 11:30 a.m. today to conclude the three-game series.
