First impressions: Early in the season, I thought Kingsburg would be one of Garces' biggest roadblocks to a Division II title; that opinion has obviously changed, but the Vikings are still a very successful program that Garces might have to tangle with right away. The Rams' biggest challenge might come in the semifinals; I think the second-most talented team in the whole bracket is El Diamante, and the Miners could collide with Garces sooner than we thought. As for the bottom half of the bracket, I thought Tehachapi played a heck of a game last night against the Rams, but margin of victory doesn't factor into seedings, and the Warriors weren't rewarded much for an 8-2 season. Remember, West gave Tehachapi a real test in Bakersfield back in Week 5. And then Lemoore is a hot team to face in the quarterfinals.
Early prediction: Semifinals: Garces d. El Diamante, Lemoore d. Sanger
Championship: Garces d. Lemoore
