    A week full of upsets in the Central Section shook up the rankings considerably, though most top teams survived. Top-ranked Fresno-Edison had a bye, and top-five teams Bakersfield and Ridgeview shook off slow starts to rout L.A.-Salesian and Stockdale, respectively.

    After that, it was chaos: No. 3 Clovis North, No. 5 Liberty, No. 6 Clovis West, No. 8 Centennial and No. 12 Visalia-El Diamante all lost.

    The result was a void at No. 4, and that's filled this week by fast-rising Lemoore, which is 5-0 with victories over two Division I teams. After that, it's a scramble, with Fresno-Central, Fresno-Bullard and Clovis among the big risers.

    One more note: Notice the final team on this list. It's Kern Valley, with its enrollment about 500....
