    Griffin powers Clips past Spurs

    SAN ANTONIO -- Forward Blake Griffin scored 31 points as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 105-85 on Saturday night at the AT&T Center.

    Griffin shot 12-of-21 and also tallied 13 rebounds and five assists for the Clippers in their second game in as many nights. Los Angeles guard Chris Paul added 20 points, while reserve center Spencer Hawes contributed 11.

    San Antonio was led by guard Kawhi Leonard. Leonard scored a team-high 24 points on 8-of-18 shooting and guard Danny Green scored 16 points as the Spurs lost for the third time in its last 12 games.
