Conference adjustment for BC football
By The Bakersfield Californian
BC football's schedule for 2012 is not expected to be released until March, but there will be some changes, coach Jeff Chudy said.
BC's conference has changed slightly, with Pasadena and Moorpark coming in and El Camino leaving.
The more significant change is the Southern California Football Association (which BC is a part of) has combined the National and Central divisions, forming three seven-team conferences. BC is in the National Division.
The American Division will remain the same but will add two Central Division teams, giving it two eight-team divisions.
Four teams will qualify for the SoCal playoffs.
BC will remain in the National Northern Conference. Other teams are Allan Hancock, Canyons, Cerritos, Moorpark, Pasadena and Ventura.
