  1. CSUB athletics: Country artist Corbin to benefit scholarship fund

    Country music artist Easton Corbin will perform a concert at Bakersfield's Fox Theater on Dec. 11 that will benefit Cal State Bakersfield's athletic scholarship fund.

    Tickets go on sale Friday through Vallitix.com. Prices range from $25 to $55, with VIP packages including two tickets in the venue's best seats and admission to a pre-concert party going for $250.

    This will be the second country music concert to benefit CSUB athletic scholarships. Wyonna Judd performed last year. Corbin is a former "New Artist of the Year" winner from the Academy of Country Music who recently released his third studio album.
