    Cal State Bakersfield dropped a 4-1 sand volleyball decision to No. 6-ranked Loyola Marymount Friday afternoon at the Barnes Beach Volleyball Complex at CSUB.

    Danika Youngblood and Sydney Haynes picked up the only CSUB win, beating Litara Keil and Taylor Akana at No. 2, 21-16, 15-21, 17-15.

    CSUB is 4-2 and Loyola Marymount is 2-5. CSUB hosts two junior college teams today, Mira Costa at 10 a.m. and Irvine Valley at 2 p.m.
