  1. WAC basketball: One reporter's thoughts

    The Western Athletic Conference his hosting its annual media day for men's and women's basketball on Wednesday in Las Vegas. Coaches and administrators will be in Sin City.

    So as a media member who covers CSUB, I was asked to participate in a media preseason poll predicting the order of finish this season and who will be the first-team All-WAC players.

    So here's my picks. Feel fee to make fun of them after the season ends. Men's basketball: Order of finish: 1. New Mexico State; 2. Seattle; 3. Grand Canyon; 4. Kansas City; 5. CSUB: 6. Utah Valley; 7. Chicago State; 8. Pan American.

    Only 8 teams this year; Idaho, you who follow the WAC might recall, has moved to the Big Sky Conference. My all-conference team:
