The Bakersfield Condors will be without their top goaltender and leading scorer as they head into a set of three games in three days this weekend.
Bakersfield's American Hockey League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Barons, have recalled goaltender Laurent Brossoit and forward Greg Miller.
Brossoit, 21-9-2, is second in the league in goals against average at 2.06 and third in save percentage at .924.
The Barons are reassigning goaltender Tyler Bunz, who started the season with the Condors, to Bakersfield.
Bunz is 5-2-0-3 with the Condors. He was recalled to Oklahoma City on Jan. 28 and has played just one game there since, stopping 31 shots in a win on March. 2.
Miller, who had been playing for Stockton, was acquired by the Barons last month and immediately assigned to the Condors. He has 10 points in 11 games with the Condors and is fourth in ECHL rookie scoring with 48 points in 48 games.
The Condors play in Ontario on Friday, host Ontario on Saturday and play in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Ike Diogu had game-highs of 30 points and 19 rebounds as the Bakersfield Jam earned a 114-106 road win against the Texas Legends.
It was a close and competitive game from start to finish, featuring 25 lead changes and 17 ties.
Texas (21-24) held a 60-59 lead at the half, but the Jam ((17-24) built a12-point lead in the third quarter, before settling for a 91-83 advantage heading into the final quarter.
In the fourth, the Legends fought back and took a 97-94 lead with 6:47 left, but Bakersfield closed the game with a 20-9 run.
Overall, the Jam shot 42.4-percent from the floor, and held the edge in second chance points (24-16) and fast break points (22-19).
Terrel Harris scored 21 points, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, while Jerel McNeal added 18 points, eight assists, five rebounds and five steals. Derrick Byars posted 13 points and 10 rebounds and Dennis Horner contributed 13 points for Bakersfield.
Texas was led by P.J. Hairston's 29 points. Damion James recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds while Mickey McConnell also scored 17 points to go along with six assists. Melvin Ely posted 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The Jam plays at Rio Grande Valey today at 5 p.m.
