By CALIFORNIAN NEWS SERVICES

Tyler Brenner's two goals weren't enough for the Bakersfield Condors in a 6-3 loss to the host Idaho Steelheads on Wednesday night in Boise.

Brenner answered Idaho goals in the first and second periods before the Steelheads scored late in the second period and early in the third to take a 4-2 lead.

The Condors cut the deficit to 4-3 on an Alex Hudson goal midway through the final period, but Kael Mouillierat scored his third goal of the game to put Idaho ahead 5-3.

Bakersfield goalie Scott Greenham stopped 38 of 44 shots on the night. Idaho was 1-for-7 on the power play, while Bakersfield was 1-for-8.

The Condors play Idaho again in Boise on Friday and Saturday at 6:10 p.m. to conclude a six-game road trip.

Bakersfield returns to Rabobank Arena on Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. against Las Vegas.
