The Alaska Aces scored five first-period goals and went on to beat the Condors 9-4 on Saturday night at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, snapping Bakersfield's four-game winning streak.
Matt Keetley, who stopped 49 shots in a 4-1 Bakersfield win on Friday night, allowed four Alaska goals on 17 shots and was replaced by Bryan Pitton with just over five minutes to play in the first period. The Aces were up 4-1 at that point.
Evan Trupp had two goals for the Condors and Ryan Annesley and Robby Dee had the others. Parker Stanfield extended his scoring streak to six games, assisting on both of Trupp's goals.
The Condors trailed 6-4 early in the third before the Aces score three goals in the final eight minutes.
The teams wrap up their three-game series today at 6.
