The Bakersfield Condors and Oklahoma City Barons swapped backup goaltenders.

Tyler Bunz was reassigned to the Barons on Tuesday while Pickard has been loaned to the Condors.

It will be Bunz's second stint in Oklahoma City and Pickard's second stint in Bakersfield.

Pickard was 3-5-0-0 earlier this season with the Condors with a 2.91 goals-against average and .881 save percentage.

Bunz was 3-5-0-3 with the Condors, with a 2.64 GAA and .904 save percentage. Also, Condors coach Troy Mann said the team was not likely to pick up any players from the San Francisco Bulls, who announced on Monday that they were ceasing operations.

All players not assigned to them by an AHL team became free agents.

"We went after two of their top scorers and they didn't pick Bakersfield," Mann said.

"That's the way it goes."

The Condors open a four-game homestand on Friday night with the first of back-to-back games with the Utah Grizzlies.
