Condors' scoring spree in third period tops Bulls

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Condors scored three goals in the span of 70 seconds in the third period and rallied past San Francisco 5-2 on Wednesday night at the Cow Palace.

Before the outburst, Bakersfield (5-12-0-1) had scored five times in its previous 11 periods combined. With the Condors trailing 2-1, Wes Cunningham scored to tie the game 2:14 into the third. Joel Broda gave Bakersfield the lead 37 seconds later, then scored again 33 seconds after that.

Jordan Knackstedt also scored twice for the Condors, once in the first period and once on an empty net.

Bakersfield returns to Rabobank Arena for the Teddy Bear Toss game at 7 p.m. Saturday.
