ECHL TONIGHT: CONDORS at STOCKTON
By MIKE GRIFFITH
When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Stockton Arena
Radio: KHTY (970 AM)
Series: Bakersfield is 0-1-1
Notes: This is the third consecutive meeting between the Highway 99 rivals. Stockton won 4-3 in Stockton on Saturday, and then beat the Condors in Bakersfield, 3-2, in overtime Sunday, scoring the game-winner with six seconds remaining. ... Four Condors are out because of injuries -- forwards Robbie Dee, Parker Stanfield and Brett Perlini, and defenseman Ryan Annesley. Perlini (broken jaw) has been moved to the 21-day injured reserve. The other three could be back next week ... The injuries to the forwards leaves the Condors with only nine frontliners. Coach Matt O'Dette said he would dress an extra defenseman tonight to serve as the 10th forward. "It's a lot easier for a defenseman to play a forward position than vice versa," he said ... Scott Greenham, 2-2-1 with a 2.60 goals-against average and .926 save percentage, will start tonight ... The Condors have been outscored 15-11 in third periods and outshot 108-67 in second periods ... Bakersfield is the least penalized team in the league, averaging 11.25 penalty minutes per game.
