The American Cheer Flyers placed sixth recently at the Cheerleading Worlds at the Wide World of Sports in Disney World, Orlando, Fla. They competed in the Senior Medium Coed Level 5 division. American Cheer is one of only five clubs in the world that has attended all 10 Worlds and this is the highest it has placed since placing third at the first two Worlds. Last year, American Cheer made finals and placed 9th. The team is coached by director Jennifer Dunn, head coach Michael Chow and coach Juan Lopez.
