    The Bakersfield 10U softball All-Stars finished second at the district tournament in Anaheim this weekend. The "Incredible Crew" will continue play in the regionals before heading off to Nationals in July. The team: Jezelle LyBurtus, Marissa Campos, Seidy Morua, Allie Wellman, Britney Sanchez, Mya Moreno, Serenity Ovando, Tianna Gonzalez, Rylee Price, Lindsey Hardin, Monique LyBurtus, Shelby Hernandez. Players: Jason Oliver, Daryl Tillman, Lucas Moreno, Cade Gretlein, Jaxton Santiago, Lucky Gonzalez, Marco Rodriguez, Jayden Montecinos, JJ Martinez, Matthew Torres. Bat Boy: Jet Santiago. Boxing

Guns ‘N’ Hoses 8th annual charity boxing event, with peace officers and firefighters competing, 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Rabobank Arena. Tickets $10-$35, available at ticketmaster.com.

Diving

Kern River Divers seeking new members. Kern River is an AAU-affiliated competitive spring board diving club, which welcomes ages from age 9 to master divers, beginners to advanced. Club trains at McMurtrey Aquatics Center. Call (661) 398-8393.

Fencing

Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation offers beginning fencing classes at 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. At 7 p.m. Tuesday there is an advanced class. All classes can be started at any time and they are held at the NOR Community Center on Norris and Fruitvale. For information, call Lucas (661) 319-2235. Classes open to children, adults. Equipment available.

Soccer

The 12U Bakersfield Bullets baseball team went 4-0 to win the championship at the Gamebreaker Sports 2013 Summer Classic Tournament this weekend in Moorpark.
The team: Abraham Ramos, Brayan Munis, Isaac Estrada, Eric Estrada, Carlos Macias, Abraham Castaneda, Danny Valenzuela, Miguel Vargas, Tony De Haro, Julio Del Villar, George Vidal and Caelan Ceregatti.

The Central California Aztecs boys 16U soccer team went undefeated and were presented with the Cool Cup Champion 17U trophy Sunday in Santa Maria. The team is coached by Ricardo Gutierrez and Manuel Gutierrez. The Aztecs are also proud to announce the recent selection of 16U player Colby Evans for the 97’s California State Soccer Olympic Development Team. The team: Manuel Gutierrez, Emilio Hernandez, Kyle Miller, Erik Jauregui, Jacob Alatorre, Ronan McEnroe, Colby Evans, Ricardo Gutierrez, Drew Fitzgerald, Jaime Velazquez, Josh Sanchez, Frank Arreola, Alec Vaughn, Alex Mondragon, Tariq Pulskamp Frank Arreola, Alec Vaughn, Alex Mondragon and Tariq Pulskamp.

The Bakersfield Legacy 9U soccer team went undefeated to take first place in the Bakersfield PAL soccer league. The team: Assistant coach Giacomo Scalice, Ally Onsurez, Emillee Hogan, Shyne Trevino, Georgia Jackson, Laila Baameur, Liz Cervantes, Julia Scalice, coach Andy Onsurez, Alexandra Nunes, Precious Ramirez, Yadira Garcia, Andrea Navarro, Ashton Onsurez, Alison Barrera, Madisyn Aleman and Anthony Vigil.

The Bakersfield Volleyball Club 14U-1 team will travel to Dallas to play in the Junior Olympics starting Sunday through July 3. They will be one of 48 teams from around the nation competing. The team: Hannah Merjil, Sable Irvin, Julianna Strode, Taylor Choate, Anna Hersh, Carly Woessner, Kaitlyn Stueve, Delany Sorrell, Ashlin Jones, coach Emily Ermigarat and Krista Stueve.
