    Bakersfield Nitro 18U went 5-0 to win the Gold Bracket at the Hanford Softball Quest tournament, Sept. 22-23. Nitro rallied in the championship game to defeat the CV Intensity 11-9. Bowling

Glover House Spot Roll-Off Tournament, 2 p.m. Sept. 29, Regency Lanes. Open to youth and adult bowlers. Bowl six games across 12 lanes on the Glover pattern. $34 for youth; $40 for adults (cash only, sidepots included). For every nine paid entries, there can be one free entry into Glover Masters on Oct. 6-7.
