South Valley Thunder Soccer Club does it again!
The South Valley Thunder G97 U15 girls secured yet another championship title at the North Huntington Beach Futbol Club Cup over the weekend of August 25. The girls won their bracket of play with a record of 2-0-1 advancing them to the championship game played Sunday evening.
The championship game was played against the San Diego based Surf Soccer Club. The South Valley Thunder girls dominated play on the pitch scoring the first goal of the game to take the lead. Surf Soccer Club responded with a goal of their own to make it 1-1 at halftime. The South Valley Thunder girls made a second goal earning them a 2-1 victory by games end.
The South Valley Thunder girls have had a successful tournament season this year and are definitely entering the Coast Soccer League season with confidence. Go South Valley Thunder!
