The Bakersfield Heat Girls Basketball Club is offering basketball skill building classes for girls in grades 5-11. Classes will include shooting, passing, dribbling, offensive and defensive footwork, balance and 1-on-1 techniques. 6-7:30 p.m.Tuesdays, Thursdays, Aug. 14-Oct. 25 at Lakeside School, 14535 Old River Rd., Bakersfield, 93311.
