Baseball : California Aces Take 1st Place in Triple Crown Central Coast Showdown
The California Aces took 1st Place in the Triple Crown Tournament July 28-29th, in Santa Maria, CA. This Championship qualifies the Aces to play in The Triple Crown Las Vegas Nationals in September. There were 13 teams that participated in the 12U division; including the California Lumberjacks Red and Murrieta Wolverines which are both top California Majors teams. The CA Aces placed in the Championship Bracket on Saturday, with 1 win and 1 loss. Then climbing to the Championship on Sunday with 3 straight wins. Beating the Irvine Pythons 9-7, Santa Maria Baseball Club 15-6, and finally taking top honors beating the Central Coast Thunder 14-7.
