Bakersfield Ice Skater Earns Ten Medals and The Deanne Laumann Award
SJCH Ice Center of Bakersfield skater, Callie Stein Wayne, earned The Deanne Laumann trophy for competing in ten events at the Summer Skatefest Competition at Channel Islands Ice Center in Oxnard on August 11th. Callie won six gold medals, three silver medals and one fourth place medal. Coach Norma Hamm received The Deanne Laumann Award for coaching Callie to this achievement.
