The Bakersfield Bombers 8U baseball team, won the Championship at the 2-day USSSA Christmas Classic in Fountain Valley on Sunday. The Bombers went 3-1 in the tournament, outscoring their opponents 28-5. The team: Kaleb Hay, Brayden Wilkerson, Cutter Coffey, Jordan Lopez, Macie Millard, Jesse Villalobos. Bottom: Joseph Alatorre, Derek Garza, Trevor Spainhoward, Spencer Jenkins, Alejandro Garza and Evan Cloyd.
The Bakersfield Renegades 11U finished second out of 12 teams at the USSSA "Strike Out Hunger" event at Big League Dreams in West Covina.
