Isabel Castaneda, (age 7) local figure skaters will compete at the 2013 Figure National Championships to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico July 27, 2013.
Isabel will represent Skateland Artistic Club that practice at Skateland .
She has qualified to compete in the free style category, primary girls division.
This event is sanctioned by USA Roller Sports (USARS). USA Roller Sports (USARS) is recognized by the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS) and United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the national governing body for competitive roller sports in the United States. USARS is dedicated to creating, enhancing and conducting the best competitions and programs for roller sports.

Isabel Castaneda started skating when she was three. She started off in the tiny tots class. It took her a whole year before she tested into the beginning class. She made the advance team right before her 5th birthday. She now trains four days a week with Coach Gary Hauman. This is her first national competition.
