Local report: Williams scores 27 as CSUB women earn 7th consecutive victory

EDINBURG, Texas -- Amber Williams scored 27 points and moved into second place on the Cal State Bakersfield women's basketball career scoring list to lead the Roadrunners to their seventh straight win, 71-62, at Texas-Pan American.
Williams surpassed Kelley Tarver, who had 1,481 points from 2005-10. Williams is the first Roadrunner to score more than 1,000 points exclusively at the Division I level.
Janae Coffee had 18 points and nine rebounds for CSUB (9-15).
BC women rally past Glendale
Haley Huntington had 16 points and Andrea Harris added eight points and 13 rebounds to lead the Bakersfield College women's basketball team to a 63-54 Western State Conference-South Division victory over Glendale at the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
The Renegades (13-10, 6-2 WSC) shot 57 percent in the second half and outscored the Vaqueros 42-32 the final 20 minutes.
Olivia Ochoa came off the bench to lead Glendale with 24 points.
BC men blow lead, lose in OT
The Bakersfield College men's basketball team had a 21-point first-half lead but was outscored 32-19 in the second half and dropped a 77-67 overtime decision at BC.
Damian Robinson had 19 points for BC (9-12, 3-4 WSC). Gor Plavchyan had 23 points and 14 rebounds for Glendale (9-13, 2-5).
