Milwee, Cooper lead BC golfers

NIPOMO -- Travis Millwee and Paul Cooper tied for the low round for Bakersfield College with 3-over-par 75s, in the final round of the two-day North-South Cup Invitational at Blacklake Golf Resort.

The Renegades (802) picked up eight strokes on Hancock College (800) on Day 2 to finish two shots out of sixth place in the seven-team tournament.

Santa Barbara City College won the tournament with a 730.

Cooper (81-75--156) had BC's lowest total for the tournament, one shot better than Millwee (82-75--157). Neil Bautista (75-84--159), Kevin Antongiovanni (81-84--165), Jake Jacobus (86-81--167) and Zach Casburg (83-92--175) rounded out the scoring for the Renegades.
