Jenifer, from Potomac, Md., has two years of eligibility remaining.
He played at Hagerstown Community College, Md., last season where he averaged 21 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and added 49 blocks. His scoring average led the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association. and he was named a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American.
Jenifer is the second player CSUB has signed this off-season. The other was Tyrell Corbin, a 6-foot-tall point guard from Salt Lake (City) Community College in Utah who is the son of Utah Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin.
CSUB, which will begin its first season in the Western Athletic Conference this fall, has five players at least 6-foot-7 on its roster for next season.
Nunn signs with Wright St.
Bakersfield College sophomore pitcher Darion Nunn signed a letter of intent with Wright State, BC coach Tim Painton said.
"It's a great fit for him," Painton said. "Rob Cooper, the head coach at Wright State, I've known for years. He's a California JC guy himself and likes California players. They had an opportunity to see Darion earlier in the year. He's left-handed and should be able to step in and compete for a starting spot."
Nunn, a Bakersfield Christian grad, went 4-3 with a 3.96 ERA in 12 games for the Renegades.
