Local report: Jam's Nunnally named to NBADL All-Star Game

The Bakersfield Jam's James Nunnally was picked to play in the NBA D-League All-Star Game in New Orleans on Saturday.

In 25 games this season, Nunnally is averaging 18.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.8 minutes. He has signed two 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks this season.

JC softball

VISALIA -- The Bakersfield College softball team lost a pair of games at the College of the Sequoias tournament, losing 3-2 in eight innings to Cosumnes River College, then falling 10-8 in five innings to host College of the Sequoias.

Bailey Graham was 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs in the second game, and Erin Huckaby was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.

JC baseball

MONTEREY -- Michael Dagg had two hits and Roman Testani had a first-inning homer, but Taft College couldn't muster much more on offense in a 6-1 loss to Monterey Peninsula.
