Local report: Jam drops 2nd straight to Reno

RENO -- The Bakersfield Jam suffered its second straight lopsided loss to the Reno Bighorns, 106-86, Saturday night.
Renaldo Major had a team-high 19 points for the Jam (4-3), which lost Friday to Reno, 127-98.
Brian Butch had 12 points and 11 rebounds, Damion James had 12 points and Mike Scott added 11 points and eight boards for Bakersfield.

SANTA BARBARA -- Damion Robinson's layup with 40 seconds left gave BC the lead for good, and the Renegades held on for a 73-71 victory over Santa Barbara City College to earn the consolation championship of the Santa Barbara Tournament.
Foothill High product Conroy Lester had a team-high 18 points, Van Holloway had 14 and Robinson added 13 for BC (4-5), which trailed 45-29 at the half.
