  1. 'Runners fall to Texas-Arlington in OT, 79-75

    ARLINGTON, Texas -- Cal State Bakersfield rallied to force overtime Saturday afternoon but dropped a 79-75 non-conference men's basketball game to Texas-Arlington.

    It was the sixth loss in seven games for the Roadrunners (6-7) Arlington is 5-7. Sophomore forward Erik Kinney achieved his CSUB career-high with 20 points. Brandon Barnes added 18, Issiah Grayson scored 11 and Javonte Maynor had 10.

    The Roadrunners had tie-breaking 3-point baskets by Maynor and Barnes in the final two minutes of regulation, and another 3-pointer by Maynor with 20 seconds left in regulation gave CSUB a 65-64 lead.

    But Arlington tied it with six seconds left when Roger Dowell sank the second of two free throws. Grayson missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
