    Marquez Smith launched his 29th home runs and drove in four runs to lead the Bskersfield Blaze to an 11-7 victory over the Visalia Rawhide at Sam Lynn Ballpark on Monday in the California League's regular season finale.

    Smith finished 3 for 5 to run his average to .323 and minor league leading RBI total to 131. He has 126 with the Blaze this season.

    Beau Amaral had a pair of doubles and scored four runs, Sammy Diaz was 3 for 5 and Harold Riggins and Juan Perez added two hits apiece for Bakersfield.

    Joe Hudson was 2 for 4 with a two-run home run, his fifth of the season for the Blaze. Bakersfield starter Daniel Wright (11-5) was solid through seven innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, striking out five.
