    A five-run eighth inning rally helped the Bakersfield Blaze overcome a four-run San Jose Giants lead and notch their 12th win of the season Saturday, 7-6.

    Seth Mejias-Brean knocked in two runs while hitting his third homer of the season, which he hit in the eighth after Jesse Winker led off the inning with a walk.

    After that, the Blaze (12-5) scored on a throwing error by Giants pitcher Ian Gardeck on a John Tolisano sacrifice bunt, and later scored on a ground out by Ryan Wright and on a single by Juan Perez.
