  1. Blaze stays alive with 7-3 win

    VISALIA -- The Bakersfield Blaze staved off elimination in the California League Northern Division Championship series with a 7-3 victory over Visalia on Monday.

    Sebastian Elizalde, Jeff Gelalich and Zach Vincej each had two-hit games for the Blaze as Wandy Peralta went six innings, giving up four hits and two earned runs and striking out three for the win.

    Game 4 is set for 6 p.m. today at Rawhide Ballpark. A possible game 5 would be at Sam Lynn on Wednesday.
