Senate GOP caucus endorses Vidak
By The Bakersfield Californian
The eleven members of the California State Senate's Republican Caucus have endorsed Hanford cherry farmer Andy Vidak for the open 16th Senate District seat, according to a press release.
"Andy's voice will be a welcome addition to the Senate. His priorities of bringing jobs to the area, reducing government regulation, common sense education reforms and delivering more water to the valley will win voters to his side. That's why we unanimously endorsed Andy," wrote Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff in the release.
Vidak is running against Democrats Fran Florez, a Shafter City Council member, and Leticia Perez, the 5th District member of the Kern County Board of Supervisors.
