Hopefully this gets read by those who are in charge of watering lawns that belong to our city and county governments, all schools, park districts and anyone who uses water for lawns and vegetation: Reduce your watering times and reduce the days of watering.
I can walk out to campus and park lawns in the morning and splash through puddles of standing water while sprinklers are running with wild abandon. I can hear sprinklers come on in my neighborhood, and they run like clockwork, then run until water is rushing down the gutter. Each and every one needs to get off their complacent butts and show some responsibility to our water shortage problem. No exclusions or exemptions from fines, period!
