Ryan Beckwith brought a refreshing change to the Renegades' athletic programs by attempting to move all programs forward -- not only football (counting for the majority of revenue and greatest fan support), but along with the other sporting events.
It appears to some that a sacrificial lamb was needed, and Beckwith was forced to resign.
Did it change the outcome? No one was prepared to step up to the plate with the knowledge Beckwith possessed, evident by the lack of readiness offered by his successor.
I've watched Renegade football beginning in 1953, with the last two seasons generating fan support with enthusiasm of the 1960 and 1970s era.
