That dancing pizza guy comes to the rescue
By The Bakersfield Californian
I was waiting at a traffic light on Stockdale Highway and California Avenue when I observed a physically challenged lady trying to maneuver her motorized wheelchair across the wide street, with much effort. In the next instant I saw our very own Little Caesars Pizza mascot darting across the road, sign board and all. He grabbed the wheelchair from behind and safely deposited the woman on the other side of the eight-lane boulevard -- and then back to business as usual it was for him.
His kind gesture did not go unnoticed. I have always felt his wonderful aura in that corner of Stockdale Highway. He has always brought a smile on my face with his happy spirit and cheery waves. Now his seemingly simple deed has elevated him to a whole new level.
