Priorities, please, officer
By The Bakersfield Californian
This is for the police officer who stopped at a red light at a busy intersection recently. Why don't you pay attention to what is happening around you instead of talking on your cellphone (which against the law, by the way)?
You watched and talked on the phone as at least two cars blatantly sped through the intersection well after the signal had turned red. Your disregard for the traffic laws you are supposed to enforce endangers responsible drivers.
Was it so important to chat with your wife, girlfriend, dentist or bookie that you neglected your job responsibilities? I hope you don't get a job as a school crossing guard after you retire.
