Gun control vs. responsibility
By The Bakersfield Californian
The tragedy of a deranged individual who chose to murder innocent people must not be forgotten. We must be steadfast in our efforts to curb domestic terrorism. With that being said, we must not give up our rights to live as free men -- far too many have given their lives to afford us that right. We are not striking the root of the problem if we believe that a ban of firearms for the common populace will prevent another selfish act of violence from being carried out.
The root of the problem is that personal responsibility isn't tolerated any longer! The "sheeple" who unwittingly oppose freedom have prostituted themselves and their families by believing they will actually be better off if they let a liberal government think and feel for them. We have stopped holding individuals accountable and have resorted to relying on myth and pipe dreams to effect change.
