BCHS students help spread Christmas joy

The other day, a wonderful group of young men and women from Bakersfield Christian High School delivered a whole lot of Christmas joy to some of our most deserving children at the school where I teach.
The party started with cookies, punch and personal attention for each child from these kind and thoughtful high school students. Santa Claus came with them and brought each child a personalized giant Christmas stocking full of specially chosen gifts.
A child in my kindergarten class was one chosen to attend, and watching her little face light up was a gift to me. Thank you, BCHS, for bringing joy to all the kids there and to those of us who love them!
