Questionable college salaries

By The Bakersfield Californian

Concerning the Oct. 17 article "Top community college head gets raise," I am extremely curious.

What labors does a community college district chancellor perform that could possibly warrant a $308,000-a-year salary, paid for by our taxes? Don't you think it's time we start seriously questioning these excessive government employee ripoffs?
