After viewing Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez's commercials in her campaign for the 16th State Senate District, I have come to the conclusion that she is much too valuable to send to Sacramento. As a supervisor that has yet to pass as much as a code or ordinance, she's telling the viewing audience that she has the ability to raise the minimum wage, force the governor to make the schools teach English, change the tax code, etc.
If this previously unknown political powerhouse can makes these changes single-handedly in the Senate, imagine what she could do for us here in Kern County. Therefore, I'm urging the citizens of Kern County to retain Supervisor Perez. This can be easily accomplished by voting for Andy Vidak for Senate.
