Meal with a side of Christmas cheer
By The Bakersfield Californian
During the Christmas shopping season, my wife and I, along with our four children, stopped at Applebee's to eat dinner. I noticed the large family sitting at the next table with their four children having dinner. They finished before us, and as they were leaving the restaurant, they said, "Merry Christmas." I thought that was very nice. After they left, our waitress came up to my wife and told her that the family that was sitting next to us paid for our meal. I thought that was unbelievable, because we were having a very large meal, and the bill wasn't small.
I just wanted to thank the family with the Christmas cheer; you are exceptional and genuinely great people. We will be "paying it forward" soon.
