Jerry went home to be with our Lord on May 7th 2014. He was greatly loved by his wife, Nancy of 34 years, his family and friends. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his wicked sense of humor and being the "best uncle ever" to his many nieces and nephews.
He served our country in the Army from 1963 to 1968 and was a member of the European Rifle Team. Before he retired he worked many years at Williams Brothers/Bechtel Petroleum.
His joy in life was to restore old cars, camping in their motorhome, doing special projects around the house and later, visiting their "home" at the beach.
Jerry is also survived by his 2 brothers, Ronald Borgman & James Quinn, 2 sisters, Mary Ann Griffin and Patricia Petschonek, 3 children, Cheryl Brown, Donald Ayers & Denise Anderson and step-son, Marvin Krause, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 11:30AM, at the Kern City Social Hall at 1003 Pebble Beach Dr., Bakersfield, CA.
