It was a memorable one-year anniversary of the "First Look with Scott Cox" simulcast. From white tuxedos to champagne cake, Tuesday was a celebration.
For host Scott Cox, breakfast at Pappy's Coffee Shop can never go wrong. It's a place he enjoys taking his grandson on Saturday mornings.
And to celebrate, the coffee shop catered a selection of breakfast items for Cox to enjoy.
"It's a solid cafe experience," Cox said as he enjoyed a bite of the Hawaiian Freedom Toast.
Joining Cox was Kevin Bartl, vice president of communications for the Condors, who talked a little hockey.
"We have a game tonight against Last Vegas," Bartl said.
Bartl congratulated Cox on a year of shows and said he was always glad to fill in for Cox.
Also stopping by was Californian President and CEO Richard Beene and Rogers Brandon, president of American General Media.
"I had full faith and confidence about the show and it has been a fun and easy project to do," Rogers said.
The anniversary show was topped off by the arrival of Elaina Rusk, meteorologist for 23ABC, who sends weather alerts to Cox.
With spring starting Thursday, Rusk didn't have good news about the temperature.
"It's going to be hot and it's going to continue to get hotter," Rusk said. "We will get no escape from the heat."
