Vigil held in memory of dead baby found in trash can

    A candlelight vigil was held in Oildale at Beardsley and South Oildale Drive Wednesday evening in the same neighborhood where the infant's body was found in a trash can last week.

An emotional candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night in Oildale at Beardsley and South Oildale Drive in memory of fhe newborn baby who was found dead in a trash can last week.

More than 100 people came out to remember the child.

A speaker at the event, Ray Ballard, said people were calling the infant Baby Beardsley. That's because the child was found on that street.
