If you're good at solving puzzles, know something about downtown and can stand a few physical challenges, then Bakersfield's Amazing Race could have been for you.

Organized by Stewards Inc., Saturday's race took teams around the city's core to find locations using clues and then complete obstacles. To add to the fun, many teams wore matching costumes during their quest to win prizes.

While it didn't take contestants around the world, Californian photographer Casey Christie shares these images from Bakersfield's very own race.
