Looking to spruce up your home? Want to improve your garden? 

The 28th Annual Bakersfield Home and Garden Show, which began Friday and continues through Sunday, has nearly 500 vendors.

It's open until 7 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Kern County Fairgrounds, 1142 S. P St.

Admission is $8; kids 12 and under admitted free. Information: ggshows.com.
