Take a look at your First News for Thursday, May 16.

Two cellphones confiscated last week from witnesses to the in-custody death of David Sal Silva were returned Wednesday to the attorney representing the witnesses. The video on one of the phones could be released as early as Friday, he said.

"I have both cellphones," Bakersfield attorney John Tello said. "Of course, we have to submit them for forensic examination."

And the wildland fire burning near Frazier Park has grown to about 3,000 acres as of Thursday morning, and is 10 percent contained. About 600 firefighters have been called in to fight the blaze. Evacuations in the Hungry Valley and Piru Creek areas remain in effect.

All this and more. Watch this morning's news on "First Look with Scott Cox."
