Bakersfield might not have reindeer, but we have the next best thing -- native Tule Elk that can be viewed up close and personal.

You can explore Wind Wolves, a 95,000-acre nature preserve and see amazing wildlife at this beautiful tucked-away paradise 30 miles southwest of Bakersfield.

The preserve is open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. free of charge.
