Shrapnel flew from the implosion of the Kern Power Plant Saturday morning, injuring people including one man Bakersfield Police say faces "one obvious amputation, possibly two."

An event that began with a party-like atmosphere quickly turned exxtremely serious. One man, who would not go on camera, said one minute everyne was cheering and the next you could hear screams and calls for help.
