The June issue of "Bakersfield Life" magazine features high school graduates who share their life goals and ambitions.

Friday on "First Look with Scott Cox," magazine assistant managing editor Rachel Cook, editor Olivia Garcia, and specialty publications coordinator Hillary Haenes said there are a great selection of stories that you can find in the magazine that comes out Saturday.

Not only will you find inspirational graduation stories, but you can also find six travel getaways to kick off your summer, Cook said.

There is also a Kern County bucket list and a gallery with the best travel photos readers submitted to the magazine.

If you don't have a Californian subscription to receive your magazine, Cook said you can pick up a copy at The Californian for $3.95.
