Jane Goodall is considered to be the world's expert on chimpanzees after her extensive 45-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees that showed human-like behaviors.
And she's coming to speak at Bakersfield College April 1.
Thursday on "First Look with Scott Cox," Krista Moreland, an adjunct anthropology professor at BC, previewed the event.
Besides talking about her research and experiences, Goodall will sign copies of her newest book, "Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants."
Books will be available for purchase at the lecture.
The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available. Visit the BC ticket office for more information.
Also visit www.janegoodall.org for her information about Goodall's 80th birthday global celebration.
