When Richard Smith strums his guitar, you can't resist listening in awe at the sound coming from his instrument. His fingerstyle specialty gives the guitar a different sound and it's all done with a pick.
Thursday on "First Look with Scott Cox," Smith played Jerry Reed-inspired songs after simulcast host Scott Cox said he was a fan of Reed.
"He's was an unbelievable guitar player and writer," Smith said. "He was a multi-talented artist."
If you would like to hear one of the most gifted guitar players in the world -- as Cox called Smith -- join Richard and his wife, Julie, as they perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at American Sound Recording Studio. His wife tours with him playing the cello.
