Kujo has more energy than his tiny 2-month-old body can handle.

As Julie Johnson, who runs the city's shelter on Mount Vernon Avenue and is also Bakersfield SPCA director, tried to control Kujo -- who has a knack for biting -- she said he was a loving terrier dog.

"Please come and get this adorable dog, please," Johnson said Friday on "First Look with Scott Cox."

Kujo will need training, Johnson said. He is available for adoption for half the usual price.

You can visit Kujo and other pets at the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center at 201 Mt. Vernon Ave. or call 832-7387.
